FAQ

Questions, answered.

What Loom Loyalty is, how it connects to your stack, and how we handle your data.

The basics

What is Loom Loyalty?

Loom Loyalty is real-time, AI-native loyalty infrastructure. It turns customer signals such as purchases, visits and referrals into points, tiers, rewards and live audiences, through a REST API, an admin Hub, a rewards portal and AI agents.

Is Loom Loyalty related to Loom, the video messaging app?

No. Loom Loyalty, Inc. is not affiliated with Loom, the video messaging product from Atlassian.

What are Weave and Patterns?

They are the two parts of the platform. Weave by Loom Loyalty is the rules engine and API: it runs your loyalty rules as each event arrives and writes every point to one ledger. Patterns is live segmentation: it watches behavior as it happens and keeps audiences current.

Who is Loom Loyalty for?

Growing brands that have outgrown a plug-in app but don't want a quarters-long enterprise project, and teams that want marketers, engineers and AI agents working on the same program. Compare the options.

How long does it take to launch?

Days to weeks, depending on how many systems send events and how many rules you start with.

Building on it

How do I send data to Loom Loyalty?

Three ways: call the REST API, point another platform's webhooks at an inbound ingest source, or drop batch files on SFTP. Most teams use more than one. See the integrations.

How do other systems hear about changes?

Through signed webhooks with retries and replays, or through connectors for Zapier, Make, Segment, Inngest and Slack. Scheduled file exports can also go to your own S3 bucket or SFTP server.

Does it work with AI assistants?

Yes. Loom Loyalty runs a remote MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients can read and manage a program. You sign in with your Loom Loyalty account, and the assistant can only do what your role allows. Connect an assistant.

Can I test changes before they reach customers?

Yes. Every organization has separate environments, such as development and production, each with its own data, API keys and limits. You define a program once and promote it from one environment to the next instead of rebuilding it. How environments work.

Where do I start as a developer?

Create an API key in the dashboard and follow the Quick Start, which creates a customer and reads it back in a few requests. Read the Quick Start.

Data, security and plans

Who owns the data?

You do. We process it to run your program and support you, and for nothing else. We do not sell it or share it with other customers, and you can export or delete it whenever you want. Read our security page.

How is each customer's data kept separate?

Every record carries the organization and environment it belongs to, and every request runs inside the organization and environment of the credential that sent it. Custom Fit clients can also run on their own database or dedicated services. See the architecture.

Do you use member data to train AI models?

We do not use identifiable member data to train models that serve other customers. Inside the platform, our models learn only from data that has been aggregated and de-identified.

Do you support single sign-on?

Yes. Tailored Fit includes one SSO connection, and Custom Fit is sized to your needs. See pricing.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, with no card needed. See the trial and plans.
